Samson's Sauce®
Try a spoonful or two in green beans, collards, pinto beans, or deviled eggs."Makes Everything Taste Better" Use to season Brunswick stew, all kinds of soups, clam chowder & meat loaf. Add to your homemade shrimp dip, and also Bloody Mary’s. Season your ground beef with Samson’s Sauce when making tacos. Then use as a taco sauce on top. Great on hot dogs, too. Makes a wonderful marinade: Take your favorite steak, cover both sides with Samson’s Sauce, sprinkle on some soy sauce, then Adolph’s tenderizer. Pierce with fork at ½ inch intervals. Marinate 1 to 2 hours. Broil. Check often because it will cook quickly. It will taste wonderful and melt in your mouth. Bloody Mary mix for a crowd: 46 oz. can tomato juice 32 oz. jar clamato juice 3 tablespoons Samson’s Sauce 1 tablespoon Roses lime juice 1 tablespoon horseradish 1 tablespoon salt ½ tablespoon pepper Add half as much vodka to the mix, making it 2 parts mix to 1 part vodka Slow Grilled Chicken: Remove skin and fat from chicken. Sprinkle with garlic powder and seasoned salt. Let sit for an hour at room temperature. Mix sauce and let it set for a while: ½ cup + 1 1/3 T. Wishbone salad dressing 2 T + 1 teas. Samson’s Sauce Original ½ T fresh lemon juice ½ tsp. garlic powder This is just enough for 1 ½ chicken turned 6-8 times over the coals. Cook chicken on low fire as slowly as possible, preferably with a pan of water underneath. Turn frequently, & baste with sauce every turn. Wet hickory or mesquite chips can be used the last 15 minutes for variety. Wonderful!!! |
